- Know the sources and ways of producing electricity.
- Make a simple electromagnet. Show and state the relationship between electricity and magnetism.
- Understand the difference between a direct current and an alternating current, and show used to which each is adapted. Give a method of determining what current flows in a given circuit.
- Have an elementary knowledge of the construction of cells, batteries, switches, electric bells, and transformers.
- Demonstrate how to replace fuses, and properly splice, solder, and tape rubber-covered wires.
- Make and submit a diagram or sketch showing the lights, switches, and outlets controlled by each fuse in your house.
- Read correctly an electric meter and compute the bill.
